Gunnar Thompson '19 Recruiting Profile

    Freshman year has definitely been the highlight of my career making it to the State Semi-finals in Oklahoma.  Sophomore year I had to step up. It showed me leadership. It gave me discipline, work ethic, and it showed me that nothing is given to you. If you want something you have to go get it and that is what I'm willing to do. This year helped me focus and really learn what teamwork is.   
    I'm very blessed to be a part of a high school that has so much support. The town of Poteau runs off of football.  Just these first two years of football has showed me the value of commitment, and the value of doing whatever it takes. This is what I've grown up for and I believe I can be a great fit for your school, athletically and academically. I can bring leadership, work ethic, and commitment to your program because I'm ready to do whatever it takes.
