Joel Mackey '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 4 year starter.  As a DB I was only scored on twice in 4 years, even my Sophmore and Junior year when I played with a torn shoulder. I had successful surgery in 2017.  I have shut down every D1 receiver I have played against.  As the starting running back I had almost 1000 yards. I also went against 1 of the top players in the country, and shut him down. You may have someone on you team bigger or stronger, you might even have someone faster, but you won't have anybody who will out work me. I plan to major in Psychology so that I can help kids cope with problems they have in life.  I am a great student who has never gotten in any trouble.  I don't get sick or miss school.
