I am a 17 year old Varsity Football starter on both the Offensive line and Defensive line. I am excited to play my senior year at Thurston High School (Oregon State 5A Division Champions 2018 & 2019) in Springfield, OR. I played my junior year of football at Marist Catholic High 4A division in Eugene, Oregon where I was blessed to earn many athletic honors for the 2019 football season. I played on both the JV and the Varsity Football Teams during both my sophomore and freshman year at Churchill high school in Eugene, Oregon. I also participated in Varsity Track & Field as a thrower since my freshman year in high school earning recognition as a 5A Varsity level top 3 finisher for both shot put and discus each year.
A proud Pacific Islander of Samoan ancestry, my 'ohana (family) and I have roots in O'ahu and Maui, Hawaii. I moved with my 'ohana (family) to Oregon in August 2015 to explore better educational opportunities as well as pursue my passion for athletic competition, especially football. I am excited to play college football as well as achieve my dream of becoming a professional athlete one day.
I love being a part of a high school team that includes an inspirational coaching staff who are dedicated to developing me to my full potential. My teammates may say I'm too friendly at times because I have a big personality, but they also attest to the fact that I am very focused and motivated to get the job done when on the football field! I am blessed to have strong work ethics and moral values instilled in me by my parents and I do everything to bring pride to my 'ohana for all of their love and support.
In addition to being a student athlete, I enjoy playing the baritone saxophone in the school band, I play the 'ukulele for fun and I can also dance the hula and siva which are traditional dances that bring pride to my cultures. I volunteer at CASA for Lane County serving foster children in my community and I am a proud founding member of the Pacific Islanders club at Churchill high school. As a freshman I was one of only two student-athletes serving on the high school leadership/ student council. I feel that it is important to be well rounded and to excel both on and off the field.
Together with the community that surrounds me, I am determined to achieve all my goals!
