Patrick Phongsat '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Patrick Anthony Phongsat, I am a Sophomore at Chapman High School. I participate in Football and Track. I've been playing Varsity football for 2 years now. I am a wide receiver, cornerback, kick returner, and a punt returner. One thing is I love to BLOCK! Why be a receiver if you can't block... In Track I made it to state qualifiers for Triple Jump as a freshman. I have pretty decent speed, I run a 4'6 in the 40 yard dash. My 100 meter dash is an 11'7, and my 400 meter is 57 seconds. I am also involved in Church and my youth group. I take honor classes at my school(Biology, Geometry, and Algebra 2). I would like to become a Pharmacist when I come out of highschool. If I ever had the chance I would like to continue my studies at the University of North Carolina. My GPA is 3.93 as of now at Chapman. God gave me the talent to play football, have speed, hip mobility, eyes to catch, and etc. I believe I can D1 ball or at the next level because I have great work ethic. I workout everyday at school, during Christmas break, I've trained with former NFL player DJ Moore, former Clemson receiver Xavier Dye. I participate in camps like the Clemson All In Camp, Bobby Bentley Camp, and lots of other camps. My stats for my Sophomore year were 21 receptions for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns. Not very good, but I am still improving and have more work to get done in the next to years. It has been a journey playing football, but I feel like its my destiny to play football.
