I am a very goal inspired person and that is what drives me to be the best possible. I always have a team-first attitude when it comes to playing sports. I have been this way since I first started with my athletic journey. My number one goal is to always win. I have always been an extremely competitive person, no matter what I do. This mindset came from my dad, uncle, role models, and coaches. I've learned that hard work is always the biggest helper of achieving goals that I set for myself and my team. Leadership is a role I love to take on and be a part of. I believe that leadership is one of the most important parts of a team. The role of leadership gives me pride and determination to always be a part of leading my team to the best of our abilities.
During my football career so far, my team has been very successful and hard working. My freshman year included a record of 11-1 and a state championship. The feeling of being the best team at the end is the best feeling in the world. But as soon as you get this achievement, my mind immediately switches back to how am I going to improve myself. I know that there is going to be many people/teams trying to beat us. That is what motivates me.
I am a student first, then an athlete. Growing up, this has always been mindset. My family has always showed me how far good grades can take you in life. I have adopted this into my academics. I know that I have everything it takes to be a college student-athlete. I will always give everything I have to help my team. Hard work is the biggest key to success!
