Personal Statement
I’m Tony Martinez. Football has always been something I’ve looked up to, its been a sport where I can set aside life problems and focus fully on the game of football. It has helped me mentally and physically through the hardship of life. football isn’t about winning to me, I’ve always been on a losing low numbered team. Football is a mental game, it’s all about the time and effort and grind you are willing to put in. Sacrifice your own time for your team. I see football as an escape from life’s hardships. As long as I stand I will continue to put in the grind and sacrifice my time and days for my team and the sport I love! I am looking forward to the hard work I can see myself putting in for college. I spend a lot of time on YouTube watching “In a life if a D1 College Football Player.” I want to prove the natural athletic ability i was told I had. I have trained myself to think of college ball a ride or day opportunit, I will fully commit and if I can’t make it branch onward to becoming a construction contracto.
