The reason I want to pursue football at a college level is quite simple. I live on a farm and out of my family I am am the only one who has really gotten into sports. Now don't get me wrong when I say that I love sports because personally I feel like football is the ultimate sport. I've grown up in a family that has always encouraged me to do what I love, so when I made my decision to try and continue playing football and get a college degree I was fully encouraged to do so. Over the course of playing football for seven years I have learned so many life skills that there would be no way for me to explain all of them to you through this, but what I can tell you is that my coaches are always preaching to us about never giving up and when things aren't going your way that you've gotta make them. Whats different from me than other recruits is that with my football team I don't get the privilege to just play on one side of the ball. I believe there are only six seniors on my current high school football team, so that should tell you a lot right there. I wouldn't take it back and switch schools if I could because I feel like I've learned way more then most kids due to the fact of every game I am in almost every play, with the same kids, that are having to do the same thing as me. There is a reason they call it iron man football, not everyone can do it. Because we have to play entire games together I feel like I've gotten to know my teammates and really understand how close you get with them. It isn't an understatement when you call them family. I know football has gotta end and I'm okay with that, I'm just trying to give myself the best shot of being prepared for the world when I have to take off the pads and put on a suite.
