Hello, my name is Anthony Cordero, I am from Costa Rica, and I will be part of the Midway High School graduating class of 2026. I am writing this letter to express my keen interest in playing college football. As a resolute athlete with a passion for football, I am eager to continue my education and pursue a career at the next level.

Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained a keen focus on both academic excellence and athletic performance. My experience as a starting kicker and being on a football team have instilled in me valuable leadership skills, teamwork ability, and an unwavering commitment to success. My primary goal in attending college is not only to excel academically but also to continue pursuing my dreams and passion for playing football. My aspiration is to contribute positively both on and off the field by being dedicated student and athlete who embodies positive qualities.

What makes me a different from other recruits starts with my character, my passion to kick, and my goal to be successful in life. I have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, integrity, and humility through high school. These traits are deeply engrained in me and drive everything I do, whether it is giving 100% effort in practices and games or supporting teammates through challenges like drills, weightroom, and practice.
