Aaron Acevedo '19 Recruiting Profile

I have played and participated in many organized sports, such as football, baseball, track and wrestling, but my first love has always been football. I have played since the age of 7 and have aspired to play at the highest levels.

I have been fortunate to play for coaches who develop a family and team first atmosphere, never making any player bigger than the team. When required, I play as many positions necessary to help my team’s success, and have been recognized as a team leader and overall student of the game.

Coaches appreciate my team first attitude and heart, for although I may not be the biggest player on the field, I give it everything I got. One of the hardest working recruits you will find, I am always looking to improve through coaching, film study and training to improve in every aspect of the game.  

I am aware of the hard work that it takes to succeed. I study hard in the classroom and maintain a high GPA.  I also volunteer by assisting the elderly and hope to become a great role model for younger student athletes in middle school, as well as for my younger brother.  

As a student athlete my collegiate goals and aspirations are somewhat intertwined. My love for sports has motivated my educational goals. I want to attend a college where I can pursue a Bachelor's degree in any biological or health science, which would assist me in pursuing a career in Sports Medicine.
