Personal Statement
Growing up in a good home has helped me become the person I am today. My mom and dad have taught me a lot about life and to not take advantage of the privileges that I have. They have always encouraged me to be a leader on and off the field. I have played football since I was 5 years old and really became interested when I was in the 6th grade. I realized then that I might have the talent to compete at the next level and began training outside of school and started weightlifting.
I currently play middle linebacker, fullback, and long snapper but have experience at running back, defensive end, tight end and safety. I always encourage my teammates, am a leader on and off of the field, and always try to improve myself. I am competitive which makes me work that much harder on the field and in the weight room.
After my first nine weeks of high school, I realized grades were also very important on transcripts, resumes, to colleges and potential coaches. My goal is to complete high school with at least a 3.5 GPA and earn an advanced diploma.
