My collegiate goal is to do what I absolutely love...play football. I want to continue my love for football beyond high school and play for a college team. My plan is to major in sports science and become a physical therapist. My long term goal and aspiration is to play in the NFL and also one day to be an athletic trainer for a division 1 football team.
What makes me a good candidate for college football is that I am a utility player. Since the age of 5, I have played multiple positions as well as playing both offense and defense. The positions that I have played over the years include: safety, QB (first string and second string), running back, outside linebacker and long snapper. At age of 14, I was pulled from JV mid season to starting Varsity as outside linebacker, safety and long snapper; which are all the positions that I am currently playing. At the end of the 2022 season, I was awarded the Varsity Rookie of the Year Defense Award.
I consider myself an all around athlete and although I have played many sports over the years (baseball, football, basketball, track) and have received many awards from all sports, football is my passion and my drive. I have a positive and strong mindset on and off the field. I keep God first in my life and make good choices/decisions therefore making me a great role model for my teammates. I strive to always work hard giving over 100% of myself in the classroom, at practice, during training, at the gym and during my games. I am determined, motivated, resilient, a team player and have great leadership skills, which are all seen on and off the field. When coach needs assistance to help demonstrate how a position is played, he instructs me to teach/demonstrate and help my teammates gain better techniques at their positions. During the off season, I run indoor track as a sprinter and I help other football athletes in weight lifting and field work. Running track allows me to strengthen my endurance with running and gain knowledge with proper technique of running/sprinting for football. All of these qualities make me an outstanding athlete and I look forward to becoming even better through my hard work the next 3 years of high school. In addition, I will be attending camps and doing all that I can so that I am academically and athletically ready for the college football field. I know that I will make a great asset to any football college team.
