Football has always and will always be my first love. High school football didn't go as well as I had planned coming in as a freshmen. I was on freshmen team as a freshmen and had a lot of fun playing the game I love. I came back out as a sophomore and I had another good year on the sophomore team. During the summer of my sophomore going into my junior year I had an injury in my right knee playing summer basketball but I didn't get it check out until after the summer season was over in early August. I had found out that I may have pulled a ligament in my knee and It would take 4-6 weeks to fully heal. By the time it had healed football was already about 3 games in and I decided not to play because of the risk of re-injury for the basketball season so I didn't play my junior year. Not playing junior year made me realize how much the game meant to me and how football helped me be a better person off the field as well. In December after football was over that year I went to all the winter/spring workouts I played in the 7on7 tournaments and went to the team camps. I was so eager to comeback to playing the game I love. It wasn't easy I was playing behind a DB who was 2nd team kingco selection the year I didn't play so I knew I had to prove myself that I could play with these guys. As the season when on I just kept moving up in the depth chart on defense, offense, and special teams. Unfortunately after week 4 I fractured my scaphoid bone and was forced to sit out the rest of the year. I want to prove I can play at the next level. I have dealt with adversity before and I can deal with it again.
