Since I was younger, I knew I wanted to play college football, and since then I have been determined to become the best student-athlete I could be. To do this I have spent every opportunity I can to become a better player. During my freshman year I started on the varsity offensive line and was a back up linebacker. That year we won the 2A State Tittle and I played with many great players, and finally learned the grit, determination, and commitment I would need to have to get to the next level. My sophomore year I took one of the roles of being a leader and set an example for my teammates. During my junior year I knew that I had to be a leader, selfless, and relentless to be successful. After my junior year, I had accomplished my personal goal of becoming First Team All Conference D-line, although coming short of my team goal of going back to the State Championship. Not only do I have to be determined on the field, but I also have to be determined in the classroom. I take pride in being a true student-athlete. At the end of everyday I sit down and away complete my homework, and in the class room I stay productive and listen to my teachers. Since my freshmen year I have had a 4.0 and I am determined to maintain this achievement. Lastly, I have helped coach my brothers youth teams for 3 years now, and as a coach I know what to expect out of my players. With this knowledge I have learned to be coach able and do what my coaches ask of me. In my last year of high school football I plan to lead my team to the state finals and be First Team All Conference both ways. I know what it takes to be the best football player i can be, and what makes me different between all the other candidates is my willingness to learn and that I to never give up no matter what is in my way.
