Never give up. When it comes to football, and the other sports I’ve participated in, that’s been my motto. I love football and have been varsity starting running back since my sophomore year. I also play wide receiver, defensive back, and kick/punt return. My dream is to play football in college.
While I love football, and sports in general (I’ve lettered in football, basketball, baseball, and track), my eventual goal is to become a personal trainer. In college, I plan to major in either exercise science or physical education. Academics are not the easiest for me due to some learning challenges, but I believe the latter makes me a more empathetic person and teammate. My GPA definitely does not reflect my work ethic on the football field. You will not find a more hard-working player, nor one who is more committed to the team.
Passion for practicing, training, and playing the game is what I believe would make me a real asset to any team. I was voted Most Inspirational Player on the football team in my junior year. Again and again I seek out the most grueling workouts I can find, and push myself beyond what I think are my limits. I want to be the best I can be.
