Hello my name is Tyler Menas. I am a senior at Clay Battelle High School. I have been a varsity starter playing defensive tackle and offensive line. I am 6'1" at 295 lbs.
I am a honor roll student. Academics and sports are important to me.
I always set my goals high on the football field and in the weight room. I push myself to be the best of the best and the pay off awarded me with WV Class 'A" ALL STATE FIRST TEAM OFFENSE, Ohio Valley Atheltic Conference First Team, Mason Dixon Conference First Team, Dominion Post All Area Team, Lineman of the Year and Ironman Award. Also, I received several individual game awards, lineman of the game and crunch bar award. Our team has went to the state playoffs 3 of the 4 years. Furthermore, I had 44 tackles this season.
Recently, I have been selected to represent Clay Battelle and participate in the Sixty-eighth Annual Rudy Mumley OVAC All-Star Football Charity Classic. Also, I received an invite from Down Under Sports Bowl to represent West Virginia football on the Western Conference team to be held in Australia.
My dream is to become a collegiate football player. I have been working very hard since my freshman year of high school to attain this dream. I am very dedicted in the weight room and am constantly finding ways to help make myself a better football player.
