2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Angelo Reyes and I want to play college basketball. I have been playing the game since I was 5 years old. To me basketball is more than just a game, as it teaches character and many life skills that can be applied on and off the court. I have three goals that I strive for every season; whether I’m working on my own, during practice or during a game, my drive to excel pushes me to outwork my opponents, to improve my individual basketball knowledge & skills and to help make my teammates better.
Outside of basketball, my faith, family and friends are what matter most. Giving back is something that is also very important to me. I have been an intern at our local Summer Youth Program/Cleanup Crew for the past two years and I still would like to help for many years to come. Whether it’s on or off the court, I enjoy assisting others.

- This camp is the most well-known event for teams all across Alaska to develop their players from good to great. This will be my 2nd year attending as I will be entering my sophomore year of high school.

- I played with a great instinct at this camp, a willingness to learn, and the ability to get a bucket at any given time. Playing with a strong mindset earned me a spot on the all-star squad for this camp.
