First of all, I love basketball. I work hard every day on developing my game, getting stronger, and improving my conditioning. Physically, I’m a late bloomer and this allowed me to develop skills as a ball handler, passer and shooter. Now that I’ve grown and am gaining weight/strength, I’ve been able to add to my game. I can score at all three levels, and I rebound the ball very well for my position. Additionally, I’m an excellent passer with good floor vision and a feel for the game. I also believe I’m just scratching the surface of my potential. As I continue to mature physically, I know I can take my game to another level if I continue to work hard. That is why I’ve decided to do a post grad year at New Hampton.
Academically, I’ve tried to apply the same work ethic to my schoolwork. I’ve taken several AP classes in high school, including calculus and economics, and I am president of the National Honor Society. I am a volunteer coach, and I work as a baseball umpire and a soccer referee in my spare time.
