Andrew McDowell '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal has always been to play college basketball.  Since playing on my first basketball team at the age of 8, I knew it was my passion.  Whether it be shooting in my driveway, pick up ball with my friends, or playing for an organized school or travel team, I am totally in my element with a basketball in my hand.   While I am constantly working to improve my individual skills, I also appreciate the importance of helping my teammates do the same so that our team will be competitive.  I consider myself a quiet leader who expects a lot from himself, while balancing my efforts for the team as a whole.  My ideal college is one where I can continue to play basketball while earning a quality education that can translate into a prosperous future - one that includes basketball, whether that be playing, coaching or announcing games.  Thank you for reviewing my profile and I look forward to hearing from you.
