Darius Whitfield '16 Recruiting Profile

What’s special and unique about my life is that out of my 4 brothers and sisters I am the only one who will finish high school. My cousins guided me and influenced me to strive to be the best by pushing me to do great in school and sports. My career goal is to either play college sports or become a athletic trainer because it makes me happy and I am a active person . I also want to get a job in architecture to start my own company. I want to go to college like Purdue of Notre dame university because they have great architecture and basketball programs. I have overcame many obstacles in my life like being a underdog to being called a joke. I was a underdog because I was little and people didn’t really give me a chance to strive for greatness and reach every goal I can. I'm a great candidate because even though I am a under the radar player, I can promise you that I will be a great teammate and can provide great minutes off the bench with scoring or whatever I'm signed to do. I don't think I'm better than any other recruit because I didn't even play my senior an high school, but I can say I am a true scorer in hopes to get a chance to show my talent.As a result I am a hard worker who is determined to becoming one of the greatest of all time.
