My journey at Hoffman Estates High School has not been glorious when looking at wins, however at Hoffman Estates High School the basketball program's main goal is not to win, the goal is to make the athlete a better man; and from experience I can honestly say that that's entirely true. Over my four years here I've grew so much as a person, slowly becoming the man I aspire to be. I've learned leadership skills, communication skills, and even ways to better my mental toughness. All of these skills do and will not only help me on the court, but in the classroom as well. Although basketball is a major part of my life, I also take a large amount of pride in my academic success.
My entire life I've been goal-oriented. I am a driven person that will never even see quitting as an option, I am a whole-hearted believer in finishing what you start. That's what drives my "dog" mentality, I want to be the best that I can possibly be. With that being said, I am constantly in a gym working on my game to improve as a player and I wish to surround myself with others that have a similar work ethic as myself. Now, I've experienced losing records. I've experienced the rough patches a team can go through. But, throughout all of that I've experienced a brotherhood; and that's an important value to me when deciding on a program. I believe that I bring a numerous amount of traits that are necessary and impactful for a successful program. I hope to bring my athletic, academic, and life skills to benefit your program!
