Hunter Hollingsworth '19 Recruiting Profile

Winning the "Legacy Nissan Dribble Drive Classic," Whitley Co. VS Seneca S.C. MVP of the game this year was the highlight of my high school career this far. I feel like I have grown the most as a student athlete this year as my team experienced new challenges and we overcame obstacles such as multiple injuries. This experience has helped me grow as a person by learning new positions to help my teammates and becoming a well-rounded basketball player qualified to play at the collegiate level. 

Through playing Whitley County basketball I have learned the value of putting the team first, being coachable, commitment, and sacrifice. I have  played basketball since 3rd grade. I believe basketball not only teaches you how to play on the court but also teaches valuable life lessons. I want to be part of a program that will fit me academically and athletically. I would be valuable for your program because I am goal oriented and will try to accomplish those goals to the best of my abilities. I feel confident I have the talent to compete with a college team. I am a person and athlete of character, great work ethic, and a team player.  As a life-time basketball athlete I would love to continue my basketball and academic career with your college.
