Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Christian and I am very interested in pursuing basketball at the next level. I am a 6'5 ,205 lb senior. I currently play for Lafayette High School and my coaches name is Coach Cliff Brown. I started playing ball in the 8th grade and have developed my skills and basketball IQ along the way. I have won all around tournament player at different tournaments. I had a honorable mention district player as a sophomore and all district defensive player as a junior. I strive to make my game better. As a basketball player being evaluated at different camps I have been labeled as an aggressive offensive player who is not afraid to score any area of the court (meaning under or outside of the goal ). My defensive side of the game has been labeled as agressive also and not afraid of hard contact. I am truly seeking to be a part of a team that has the desire to win and a desire to support each other. Please help me to make my dream a reality.

Played in a two day tournament and won 1st place. I was able to score 15 points ,had blocks and assist in our winning game. It was a great team effort.

Our High School team Lafayette High Lions played in this four day tournament. We played against some very strong teams and strong players. Our team came in second. At the end of the tournament I was awarded with and All Tournament Team Player trophy.

I was invited to this scouting event. I was assigned to a team in which we played 3 games. This event gave me a chance to showcase my talents and to also have a highlight video placed on you tube. I am looking forward to getting more invites such as this one.The evaluation that was given to me by college coaches and aau coaches reads that I have a nice frame, am athletic, I rebound well and the big upside I will dunk on you if I catch you sleeping.

I work with a personal trainer to help my endurance and strength.

I love working with Mr. Kevin because he has played at all levels and understand the fundamentals of both strategic and physical aspects of the game. He makes it fun and he has helped me to elevate my level of play.
