Emmanuel Wilkerson '21 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to become a collegiate athlete and I’m willing to go through any adversity to get to the next level of basketball. I started playing in 4th grade in a league where I was playing 5th & 6th grade kids. I learned how to be mentally and physically tough on and off the court. Ever since then, I became in love with the game of basketball. I finally figured out what I wanted to do in life and the hard work that it will take to get there. I come from a city where the murder and crime rate is significantly high and playing basketball is the way for me to avoid the streets. In this city, going to college for a basketball scholarship is a very rare achievement, but whatever universities decide to recruit me, I will give God the glory on and off the court. The things that make me different from most players at my position is that I can play the combo guard and that I can become a scorer and playmaker.
