Gaurav Chima '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gaurav Chima, and I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I moved to Nebraska when I was in 3rd grade. I've had a love for basketball ever since I could remember. My mother was an immigrant when she first arrived to the western world and she fell in love with the game. She got both me and my older brother to fall in love with it as well and I've just had this dream to one day play collegiate basketball . Academically I am a great student I have a 3.7 GPA and always go to class, rarely miss any days of school and give it 110% effort in the classroom. I am currently a junior at Chadron High School in Nebraska and am playing on Varsity. I am 16 years old and currently am 6'4" and weigh about 180 pounds. I guess what makes me different from other recruits is that my work ethic is amazing. I always work hard to strenthen my skills and work even harder to strengthen my weaknesses. I grit and grind and try to earn everything that is given to me. I am coachable and listen to everything my coaches and teachers tell me. I will do whatever is asked of me by my coaches and I have the teams best interest in mind.
