Personal Statement

Thank you for looking at my profile.

I am currently in my Junior year of high school, but due to the corona virus I am technically a senior now. Throughout my high school career, my team has improved at a tremendous rate, earning a spot in the state tournament this year, one of only eight teams that qualify. After only eight games my freshman year, I earned a pivotal spot in the rotation, I proved my willingness to not only be a part of the team, but help them win at the same time. That has pushed me through two years starting varsity.

Although my high school team made great strides, I was not satisfied. A top panhandle team asked me to be on their team, and I was ecstatic to join a team with such skilled players. I am playing with the 18s and am the youngest on my team. We came in the top three in our first two tournaments and placed first at our most recent tournament. We were gearing up and preparing for Colorado Crossroads right before the cancellations and were all very disappointed we could no longer attend.

I competed with Down Under Sports in Australia last summer and had an experience of a lifetime. My team placed third in the tournament and volleyball allowed me to make friends I never would have before.

I am untimely looking for a school where I can earn a valuable degree, to set the foundation for my professional career. I would love to play volleyball for a program with a family atmosphere, that will foster my desire to compete, improve, and win.
