Personal Statement
In my time as a student athlete, I've come face to face with multiple hardships but through them all, I have developed one of the most valuable characteristics: resiliency. When resiliency is met with passion, it creates an unstoppable force in which all things are possible. For me, basketball is found in the middle of these two principles. Whether it means going the extra mile to learn new things that may not come naturally to me or building my knowledge for the game of basketball, it is essential to have this trait to reach the goals I intend to meet.
Basketball players achieve more than winning games, they set an example for the student body to follow, especially when it comes to meeting challenges face on. They inspire hope in the communities they represent and set examples for future generations to follow. The obstacles I have faced and the resiliency I have gained through these trials will make me an excellent fit for your basketball program. My passion for basketball and work ethic will make an excellent and successful candidate for your team.
