Jason Schulman '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be a collegiate basketball player and I believe I am an excellent candidate for numerous reasons. I consider myself an all-around player possessing very solid fundamental skills. I can shoot, pass, and handle the ball, as well as rebound and defend the ball. I value hustling on defense over scoring on offense because I believe that defense is the most important part of the game of basketball. I am also very versatile as I have played all five positions in travel and high school basketball. Furthermore, I am very coachable and I can learn different plays very quickly.  Academically, I excel in my classes - I receive A's and B's in all of my honors classes. I am a very hardworking athlete,  however I put as much if not more effort into my academics because I would like to attend an academically excellent college. Lastly, I greatly value being a good team player by always trying to support and encourage my teammates and make the players around me better.  I always play with my head up and try to get the ball to my teammates where they have their best opportunity to make a play.

I am eager to get to know the process of recruiting and I hope I can be part of that process.
