I have been wrestling since I was 9 years old and I remember my first ever practice like it was yesterday. After that first practice I instantly fell in love with this sport wanted to dedicate my whole life to it. However since that young age wrestling has been more than a sport and I plan to stay in this sport forever and after I'm done in college being a wrestler myself I want to become a coach. While in the wrestling room I like to keep to myself and imagine my next opponent training but not as hard as me and that motivates me every practice to work harder. I have always been a believer in the fact that hard work leads to success, because my freshman year of highschool I didn't work hard enough and finished 27-0 on Junior Varsity only getting in for 2 varsity matches that season, and in less than a year I trained as much as I could with the pandemic in the wight room multiple times a day and wrestling whatever days my club was open and I became a varsity wrestler with a 13-0 record who beat multiple district champions and medalists but unfortunately was cheated out of wrestling in regions this year. My junior year is going to be here in just a few months and my goal is nothing but the top of the state podium and I know Im the hardest worker in the room and that with my work ethic I can and will accomplish everything on the mat I have ever dreamed of.
