Xavier Sam '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Xavier Sam, I am a sophomore point guard for Don Bosco Prep. I believe I am a great candidate for your team because I am an unselfish point guard who always looks to get my teammates involved and find the open man. Although I'm a pass first point guard, I am always looking to get down hill or to hunt for a shot at any given time. I think I am different than most recruits because I hold myself to such a high standard and I work hard on my craft. I'm in the gym 2-3 times a day with a mix of lifting and basketball training. Another thing that sets me apart from others is that even when I may have an off game I still keep a great positive attitude because even if I'm not doing the best at the end of the day its about my team winning and not just me trying to get my own. It's bigger then just a stat sheet. Off the court I maintain a 3.7 GPA. Teachers say I'am a good student and a fun person to be around. Recently I've been focusing harder on academics than ever due to the fact that its not just about how you perform on the court but it's about how you perform in the classroom as well.
