joshua morrison '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a current member of the Varsity Basketball team, however, due to a leg injury this season I was unable to play for more than half the season. In the games preceding my injury I averaged fifteen points a game. I feel I am underrated and have been overlooked. I am determined, hungry and motivated to return to the court my senior season stronger and better than ever. Basketball is my passion and I am constantly working to improve my 'game'.  As a sophomore I was voted as one of the Top Fifty Sophomores  in the State of New Jersey. Also, this season in 14 games I was acknowledged as one of the Top Juniors in the State of New Jersey.  All of the personal accolades are great however, I am also a proud member of a Varsity Team whom won their conference, made it to the Championship game of the County Tournament and was the 4th Seed in the NJ State Tournament for Group III Public Schools. 

I would also like to mention that I am more than athlete. In addition to my involvement with athletics I volunteer at the local soup kitchen, where I try to give back to those less fortunate .  I am also focused on my school work, I strive to be the best student athlete I can be. I am interested in pursuing a higher education in the following areas, Business, Communications, or Marketing. Although I am not certain of what path I will choose, I am confident that whatever I choose will help me in building a great foundation to achieve my goals
