Christopher Adames '15 Recruiting Profile

I've had a basketball in my hand since I was two years old. Nobody loves this game as much as I do. I have been dedicated to being the best player that I can possibly be my whole life. I wake up on my own every day to work out and practice, at the Y on the weekends by 6 a.m. I am determined to succeed both on the court and in my academics. I am a very versatile player who can post-up, shoot, rebound; I finish strongly with both hands around the rim. Some games I get 20 & 27 pts. but my average is 16 pts. I am very coachable and I always aspire to be one of the hardest working players for any team or coach I play for. My heart is in this 100%. Off the court, I study very hard to do well in school. Getting into a great college and playing basketball while getting a degree to secure my future would be my dreams come true. In the summer I volunteer at a community basketball camp for the younger kids teaching them the fundamentals and good sportsmanship. I love doing this type of stuff; it makes me feel really good and it's a lot of fun.
