Jassiaahya "Siya" Jackson '19 Recruiting Profile

    My ultimate collegiate goals are to play for a great college basketball team, so I can get my education and do what I love to do which is play basketball. Basketball is what makes me happy. I love the game and I love the team comradery. My aspirations is to continue to be a leader and improve each year with my leadership as well as being the best basketball player I can be. Also, my aspirations are to be one of the top players on my high school and college basketball team.

    What makes me a good candidate for a team is that my passion for basketball and my willingness to dedicate the time I need to improve on my skills everyday as well as being an all around great player. My ball handling skills are remarkable as well as my deadly shooting. I know how to penetrate the paint or go outside and knock down a jumper or three pointer.

What makes me different from other recruits is that I have always maintain good grades and currently have a 3.6 GPA. Basketball is very important, but so is my education and my mother has always instilled this in me. I volunteer every Sunday at my local church in the Kindergarten through first grade class. I play games with the kids and watch them while their parents are in church. I also, volunteer with my family every year with a local back to school program handing out school supplies to other kids.
