I started playing rec ball in Pre-K, for my school team in 3rd grade, and club ball in 6th. Now I plan to prove that I’m worthy of playing basketball at the collegiate level
As a point guard/shooting guard, I love to get buckets. But I’m no ball hog. I’m coachable, have great ball-handling skills and will work to get my teammates set up to score. I’m a solid defender and rebounder, am not afraid to take a charge, and have a high basketball IQ with great court vision. Whatever team I’m on, I hustle to help us score, get stops, and win games. When I’m in, I’m all in. I’m a friendly, out-going guy whose also smart, energetic and self-assured. I’m a natural-born leader both on and off the court. While playing point guard for school, recreational, and club teams, I’ve learned how to direct my teammates to work together in order to succeed.
In Middle School, I’ve kept a high GPA, consistently make the Honor Roll, and I’m in Honors math class. As I enter high school later this year, I intend to maintain a high level of academic performance.
I’d like to attend a college where I can prove myself both on the court and in the classroom. Like any player, I’d prefer a D1 school with a recent history of success in men’s basketball, but I’m open to all options. Bottom line, I just want to play at the highest level possible on a team where I can make a difference while making my friends and family proud.
