Bennett Rogers '21 Recruiting Profile

As an 8th grader, I walked out onto the basketball court as a Varsity player. That was an incredibly exciting but very intimidating experience. That year made such a difference for me and my love for basketball. I had to push myself harder than before and I had to learn the tough lessons of defeat. Those lessons made me a better player and cemented my love for the game but more important, that year taught me the importance of teamwork and being a part of developing a "team attitude." I benefited from the support and encouragement of the Junior and Seniors and my coach who believed in me. It has made all the difference in how I play the game and why I love it.  

I am looking for the opportunity to play college basketball for a team where I can be part of developing not only my game but also creating something great for my teammates and my school.  I want to a part of a school community where I can continue to push myself in the classroom and on the court.
