2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Alec Tipton, and I am a 6'2' 155lb shooting guard/wing from Collierville Tennessee. I started playing basketball at age 6, and I absolutely Love the game. I have been blessed to have been a part of two State Tournaments - One in Middle School, and one in High School which took us to the final four. Those experiences allowed me to know what it is like to play on the Big stage, and will be something that I will always remember.
3 words that describe me on the court - Hardworking -Athletic - Playmaker. Work ethic is extremely important to me. I believe that you have to outwork the competition in order to come out on top. Leadership and hard work in the classroom is also important, and I have been able to maintain a 3.5 GPA.
Playing basketball in college has always been a dream of mine. I am ready, eager and willing to do what it takes to make this dream a reality while getting a good education at the same time.
