Riley Holman '21 Recruiting Profile

Goals:

I want to go to college to get an education first and foremost. I want to continue my basketball career at the collegiate level because I love the game. I love the camaraderie. I love the competition. I haven’t finished growing, physically or mentally as a person or a player. I will continue to get stronger. I will be taller. I will become better next year than I am this year. I will be better as a senior than as a junior. I will not stop until I reach my full potential both as a person, a student and a player.

Skill Set:

• Excellent shooter currently leading high school team in made 3-pointers

• Solid ball handler; capable of playing either guard position

• Excellent free-throw shooter

• Solid defender

• Capable (and willing) to play positions 1-2-3-4.

• Leading scorer on JV team as a freshman

Other Attributes:

• Student of the game (I understand concepts and schemes)

• Unselfish (I want to get my teammates involved)

• Willing to learn

• Fast learner (I adapt well and typically understand offenses/defenses easily)

• Played baseball for 9 years (I’m more than just a basketball player; I’m an athlete … was the No. 2 pitcher on my high school Freshman team)
