Vaydin Maldonado '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to play basketball and to get a higher education to help support my family.  I have already began dual credit through Richland College this past summer and now contain 12 college credits already. I am going to graduate with my associates degree, As far as basketball goes, I bring discipline, leadership, and IQ.  Points, assists, steals, rebounds and key stats such like, have always came along with the three things I focus most on.  I take leadership very serious on and off the court, and academically I currently have a 4.0 GPA.  I am an active member of Student Council and the Best Buddies Club (a club where I am a mentor/ big brother for special needs students). I am currently a Sophomore, starting at SG/PG on my High School Varsity basketball team and I will continue to work hard in the classroom and on the court to reach my collegiate goals.
