Jared Clawson '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a very coachable player. I am a point guard with a very high basketball IQ. I have all the intangibles you want and need in a guard to lead a winning team. As a point guard being vocal is a must,  and I understand that and I am working on being more vocal each day. I thrive off pick and rolls and do a great job changing speeds. I enjoy playing defense. Defense is going to be a primary focus during my 2019-2020 high school season. My goal is to be one of if not the best on-ball defender in the country. I will beat anybody who's guarding me, no matter if there faster, stronger, taller or more athletic than me.  I will do this by using my footwork which is the key. With great footwork you can beat anybody.  I am a good shooter, who can shoot a spot up 3-pointer or an off the dribble 3-pointer or a mid range pull up. I want a coach who is going to be hard on me, a coach that will tell me when I mess up and will make me do it until I get it right.  I'm also an A-B student in the academic advanced program. I want to win the NCAA tournament championship. I'm hungry for it.  I WILL NOT BE OUTWORKED.
