In 2022, I was picked and invited to go with an United States team to Germany. I was chosen for this team after years of training through NBC/Nike Sports Camp Organization out of Gonzaga University. John Fazio, my coach, out of Spokane, Washington, and we trained in Seattle prior to our tour.
My teammates were the best. We won all our games in Germany against some tough teams in Frankfurt and other cities, 10-0. It was the best team effort and chemistry I ever experienced, although all or us were from all around the country from different high schools. We won all our games in Germany. Traveling with different players, different ways of playing, yet we won every game, and were a great team
So now, the way I feel and think about basketball is different than it was 10 years ago. Everyday I constantly think about the sport and how I can get better at it, and how I can contribute to a professional college team. Playing on a college level with Christian coaches, and with players who are friends as well, would be a life dream. It would be a privilege, really.
Also, its the passion and competitiveness, along with studying a career in sports science or exercise science that compels me. The reason I want to go to the next level in life is because my academics are good, I like business classes, and perhaps want to open my own business one day.
I'd like you consider the above, especially with my international experience and tenacious mindset.
