I was fortunate to grow up with very supportive parents and grandparents who taught me the importance of Christian values. Along with them, I have had many role models such as my brother and youth leaders, who have influenced my life. When I was six years old, I watched my brother play basketball and developed a passion for the sport. My Grandfather was a strong influence in my life and he encouraged me to pursue that passion. Playing basketball has taught me to be a team player and I enjoy competition. The competition motivates me to be a great player. I will be working diligently my senior year to become bigger, faster and stronger as a player.  My academic goals in high school are to continue to work hard to maintain my GPA and to do my best in preparation for college. One of my collegiate goals is to successfully balance academics with basketball and receive a great college education. I see myself as a strong leader. I encourage my teammates and work hard to be a good example. I am the captain of my Varsity team. In my life, I hold myself to high moral standards, such as loyalty, integrity, and dedication.
