Academics and selecting the right school are very important to me. I have been an athlete my entire life, most times playing two sports per season up until my freshman year in high school. Soccer use to be my primary sport until this year (junior year) I opted to focus on diving Summer, Fall, Winter. I have always been very coordinated and it is sort of funny how I stumbled into diving. I was at Freshman tryouts for basketball and after the first day I could hardly walk my heels were very sore the second day I couldn't walk without intense pain. Having never missed a sport season in my short 15 years of life I quickly searched for what other sport would complement my soccer and lacrosse skills....swimming? Well swimming led to diving. I am in my 3rd season now and absolutely love the sport and plan on diving for as long as I can. I am Co-Captain of our High School Swim/Dive team this year. I earned a Varsity letter for Diving both my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. I also play lacrosse of which I was captain of the JV team last season and I played varsity this year. I was also the captain of our high school JV soccer team my sophomore year.
I am told by my coaches that I am a quick learner, extremely coachable and a strong leader. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be the best and compete at my highest level. I am a team player, I work well with my teammates and I look forward to finding a school that I can do what I love diving and earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
