Jonathan Nolasco '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Jonathan Nolasco. I’ve been playing golf for the past 6 years but for the past 3 years I have been competitively playing Golf and have been working hard to improve every single time I play. Now that I am really striving to play golf in college, I am pushing myself to work even harder to achieve my bigger and better goals. 

Besides school, golf is the main focus in my life. Some things you’ll find about me is that I am a big team player and I love having fun and encouraging my teammates and friends. I do have a competitive drive whether it’s within my team or not, I strive for competition and to win. One thing that helped me become such a team player is that I was used to having those bonds with football and soccer before I started playing golf. 

My family and I, I would say that we are an academically driven family. So all my time when I’m not golfing, school and academics are my number one priority. I work hard in class and at home and have maintained a high GPA throughout all my years of school and push to continue that. I also try to involve myself as much as I can, being a part of A Cause A Month (ACAM), The California Scholarship Federation (CSF), my school’s Filipino Club, and our Varsity Golf team.

My goal is to attend a four-year college where I will be able to continue my academics and push forward and extend my golf career.
