Logan Rayburn '17 Recruiting Profile

As a co-captain of the varsity golf team, it has been of dream on mine to play college golf since I first started playing the game at 5 years old.  I am constantly working on and improving my game by working with my coach, my club professional and spending hours on the range.  I was a contributor to our teams second place finish in the State of IL 2A Golf Tournament.  While golf is my passion, I have been wrestling varsity since I was a freshman.  While the two sports vary significantly in what is required from a physical perspective, the "refuse to lose" mindset required in wrestling is the same attitude I have when playing golf.  My determination and drive to succeed, both in athletics and in academics, is what sets me apart from others.
