Personal Statement
My name is Annika Norman, I have been playing travel softball since I was nine. I Currently play for the Wasco Diamonds as a Freshman. I have been playing travel softball for most of my life and I absolutely love it. I am extremely coach-able and I respect my coaches and teammates, I take what my coaches and teammates say seriously. I am very dedicated to softball and work hard for my positions. I have always dreamed of playing in college. Playing in college is definitely a goal that I'm working at to achieve. I am competitive on the field but also enjoy having fun with my teammates. I am a different type of athlete because if I make a mistake I shake it off, try to improve it and make the next play. I then take it into practice and focus and work so that I become a stronger player and asset for your team. There is a quote that I love " If you aren't willing to work for it, don't complain about not having it." I am willing to put in work to become a good player and athlete. I believe that respect for your coaches and doing what they tell you is a major part of the game, if you treat your coaches and teammates with respect you're most likely to get respect in return.
