Daniel Shepard '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Shepard and I am currently attending Floyd Central High School. I have been starting varsity for the golf team since I was a freshmen. I have steadly gotten better over time. My scoring average my freshmen year was around a 79.5. My sophmore year my scoring average dropped by two strokes to 77. My scoring average for my junior is currently around a 75.5. I am currently ranked 14th in the state of Indiana. I have been playing golf since I was 6 years old and love everything about the game. I can offer a lot of emotion and passion into a team. I love to practice hard because I know that is what leads to success. I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and weigh 180 lbs. I love to work out and get stronger all of the time. I have very good grades and try hard in school. I have had a steady GPA of 3.7 since my freshmen year. I love to study Math and Human Anatomy the most. I would love to major in one of those fields in college. I would love to go to school somewhere in the midwest because I live in southern Indiana. I don't have a preferance on school size. My athletic goals for golf are to play college golf under scholarship. Someday I hope to have a job revolved around the game of golf.
