I am an excellent student who is very driven to achieve my goals. I am ultra competitive, and have an overwhelming desire to succeed. What separates me from other applicants is that I possess the drive to win, whether that's getting the best grades or winning a golf tournament. I finished my grade 12 year early (Feb 2025) with a 3.56 GPA. I am now taking the rest of the 2025 year to continue to focus on golf. I am interested to attend university in 2026.
I am a dedicated employee, working last season at the University Golf Club in Vancouver. The previous summer I worked on the turf crew at the Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Ontario. Besides working at the course, I joined their highly sought-after junior golf program to train under Coach Rich Storey and also volunteered to help Coach Rich teach kids at their summer camps. In addition to golf, since the age of 10 I have been active in hockey during the winter where I have learned the necessity of teamwork to achieve success. I also played on the school select soccer team for my high school years.
I am passionate about the game of golf. Prior to moving to Vancouver in March 2024, I was a member of my senior high school golf team having made the team as an underaged player three years ago. One of my fondest achievements was representing the Kootenays at the British Columbia Summer Games in 2022. Our 6 person team brought home to our region the golf gold medal for the first time in summer games history.
British Columbia Golf selected me to represent Team BC at the 2023 Eddie Hogan Cup Matches. In 2023 I also had my first tournament win at a Canadian Junior Golf Association event and won the Men’s Club Championship at my home course. I had a successful 2024 season with invites to several national tournaments and international tournaments including being selected to play for CJGA Team Canada where I won the individual stroke play event in Scotland.
