Thanks for stopping by and getting to know about me, Brian. I am a senior at Fr Leo J Austin Catholic Secondary school in Whitby, Ontario. I am located in the Durham Region which is about an hour north east of Toronto. I am the middle child and oldest son with an older sister and a younger brother. We are a close knit crew. I was introduced to golf in grade 4 at the age of 9 and the game had me hooked. I watch golf, I play golf, I want to pursue it professionally either on or off the course. That is just how much I love the game. If I am not playing, I am working on development and skills.
I am an active participant in my club as I have volunteered and worked with our young golfers programs and camps each year. I have been awarded the merit award for the Archdiocese of Toronto's Alter Server Awards. Community involvement has been ingrained in me since I was young enough to move chairs and load groceries. Academically I am a strong French Immersion student in the Business SCHSM at my school. I am interested in putting my interests for entrepreneurial and International business together with my love for sports into a career path.
I had my inaugural year of competitive golf and although late to start the competitive circuit I gained so much knowledge and really fell in love with competing and the grind of continuous growth, building and rebuilding routines. I came in first in U19 team challenge tournament with my partner Ben. Finished middle of the pack in most rounds whish is a good first showing. I feel I have no where but up to go. I am a team player as having played both Rep Soccer and house league hockey from the age of 4 through 12. I started golf as a full time pursuit in grade 8. I have a great program and have built many strong relationships with the Geared to Golf program. I am looking to bring my love for team, sport and business to your school and being a part of a program that believes in building minds, bodies and relationships as well as success.
