My collegiate dreams and aspirations started when I was a kid. I knew I wanted to be the best the moment I picked up a golf club, and I worked harder than anybody else to pursue my goals. I've been playing golf since I was 7 years old and have learned so many life lessons along the way. Playing golf has affected me more than anything and is a big reason for who I am today. My collegiate dreams start by earning a D1/2/3 NCAA scholarship where I can advance my game and grow as a player. From there I hope to work hard as a student-athlete and contribute to my team in any way necessary. Something that makes me a good candidate is my willingness to play any role and my determination. I'm willing to be a part of the team in any way I can help as well as being determined to be the best at a set role. Something that makes me different is my teamwork and my student body. Golf is a very individual sport for many players and some lack the skills to be a part of a team. As for me, I grew up playing team-related sports (Hockey, Baseball, Soccer and Basketball) and have learned the skill of teamwork and communication. Being an athlete comes with being a student as well. As for my student body, I am a part of my high school's student council where I have learned how to be a great leader as well as an honour roll student. Overall I believe that I would be able to play a role on a collegiate golf team and help the growth of everyone around me.
