July 2018To me, golf has changed the way I look at things and decipher the world around me; it has become a way of life. I’ve been engrossed in the sport ever since the age of four. My passion for golf was influenced by traveling to watch PGA Tour events in person, such as the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the RBC Canadian Open. There has never been a day on the golf course that I’ve felt I don’t want to be there. There is no doubt I believe that golf is where my future lies.
I’ve been fortunate enough to compete in various high level junior events across Canada and the USA. One of my greatest competitive memories is when I had my first hole in one on Hole 15 at Pinehurst No. 8, in the first round of the U.S. Teen Worlds in 2015. Another great moment for me came at the 2017 GAO U17 Championship. After a poor first round of 74, I used my resilience to bounce back and shoot a bogey-free 67 in the second round. I am an experienced and committed golfer and I firmly believe that I have what it takes to be a skilled player on your team!
