My name is Sean Vowells and I attend Oratory Prep School in Summit, NJ apart of the Class of 2019. I have been playing golf since I was four and it has been my dream to play in college ever since. I am currently a co-captain for the Oratory Prep Varsity Golf team. During my years at Oratory we have finished 2nd and 3rd in the NJ TOC. Being 5 ft. 9 in. and 160 lbs, I put a premium on practicing short game as much as practicing long game. I would like to go to a school that is well-rounded in both academics and athletics because I value both significantly. I would like to go to school with a strong business department because that is my desired major. I would like to go to school either in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, or Midwest regions. I am open to different types of school sizes. As a college golfer, I would like to play at the highest competition level possible. Other activities I participate in are St. Phillip Neri Club (service projects), FED Challenge, and Varsity Soccer. I consider myself a well-rounded person because I am both academically strong and have played multiple sports during high school.
